Let me introduce myself, my name is Barney! Officially it is Benny – but due to someone not being able to read our website correctly I was named Barney!
I was born in Bayreuth in June 2015, a town in Upper Franconia where I spent my first 10 weeks with my brothers and sisters. Needless to say, I stood out from my siblings. We were a hungry and playful bunch, always eating and playing.
I remember the first time I saw my chosen family, one cuddle and I was following my new humans everywhere – checking them out, ensuring I made the right decision. I even did a bit of chewing in front of them to make sure they approved!
Mid August, I moved away from my furry family and to my new home in a small town in Franconia. It was paradise – a garden to play in, a forest next door and a big house to run around in. Summers were lovely and warm and there was so much work to be done in the garden and winters all white and never too cold, thanks to my furry coat.
It was during the Winter months I started to notice I was changing, my cute puppy fur was growing and growing and growing ….
I was entering the teenage years…
