Two and a half hours drive from Berlin and I was in a small town called Stadt Wehlen. When we parked next to the River Elbe my initial reaction was ‘swimming weekend – whoop whoop!’, but how wrong was I! Not only have I been banned from swimming (vets orders) I was about to be challenged in ways I never thought possible. One that was to test me and my trust in my humans <\/em>…<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

What can I say! We arrived at our new home for the next 4 nights to be greeted by our hosts – they certainly know how to treat us furballs. Not only do we get our own food and drink bowl, but there is also a towel and a welcome treat bag! For those of you lucky enough to swim, there is also a small meadow with access to the River Elbe – great chance to cool down after all those hikes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first thing my humans did after we settled in was grab a beer. No problem! I just found a perfect place to chill out, whilst they planned the days ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
